It’s like shovelling snow when it’s still snowing!

Whilst running an Inbox Zero workshop for a team of Solicitors this week an attendee came up with a cracking analogy.

We were having a discussion around the stress of dealing with a high volume of email when she said…

“It’s like shovelling snow when it’s still snowing!”

Brilliant!

However hard we work through the emails, they just keep on coming.

It never stops snowing.

Unless we maybe work offline for a while, or turn off notifications.

Yes we can make it stop snowing for periods through the day.....and evening and weekends!

Enabling us to to shovel away some existing emails, or spending our time well elsewhere.
